Newsteo boosts its best expanded temperature calibration uncertainty
In 2019, Newsteo obtained its accreditation for the calibration of temperature measurement chains according to the NF EN ISO / IEC 17025 v. 2017 standard.
In 2021, Newsteo launched an internal project to improve calibration methods and invested in more efficient measuring equipment and instruments, thus allowing the metrology laboratory to significantly improve its best expanded temperature calibration uncertainty, decreased from 0.47 °C to 0.28 °C.
« In September 2021, COFRAC updated the scope of our accreditation. This breakthrough now allows us to respond to more advanced and demanding requests that some of our customers, such as medical biology laboratories, may have. » adds Lionel Giorgi, Metrology Director of Newsteo.
