Project Description
PRESENTATION
We have equipped a pharmacy established in La Ciotat (South of France) for 12 years. It is specialized in the pharmaceutical products in specialized shops.
In order to be in accordance with « The National Council of the Pharmacists Order » (CNOP) recommendations about the respect for the cold chain, Mr Gilles Sauvage, pharmacist and pharmacy manager, needed 2 temperature recorders.
Indeed, the CNOP recommends the pharmacist to pay a special attention to thermal health products (THP). For this, always according to th « CNOP », the fridge must be equipped with a « monitoring and recording temperature system ». In order to give a reliable image of the fridge temperature, the CNOP recommends the installation of two sensors, placed on the critical points.
THE MISSION
In order to identify, record and store temperatures of his thermostatic chamber, Mr Sauvage called on Newsteo. He wanted temperature compact recorders, for less space congestion in the fridge, and accurate, to be in accordance with the CNOP recommendations. The Council also asked him to archive the temperature readings, in case of control.
IMPLEMENTATION
Taking a measurement has to be done in two points : a high and a low point in order to check the temperature homogeneity inside the fridge.
The system is thus composed of two temperature recorders, LOG26, placed up and down the fridge and a radio gateway towards Ethernet (COL 22) plugged to the pharmacy ADSL box. Data is automatically sent to the Webmonitor internet platform, in a secure area only accessible by the pharmacist.
It takes a few minutes to install it, and it is very simple to use it.
RESULTS
- Real-time temperature monitoring
- Several years autonomy = peace of mind
- Installation in accordance with CNOP recommendations
- Automatic report sent by email
- Measurements automatic transmission
